Working full-time while preparing for the CIA examinations was not so easy. I used Gleim exclusively and was able to pass all three parts on the first try. Moreover, I was recognized by the IIA with the A.J. (Hans) Spoel Silver Award, for the Second Highest Scoring Candidate.

I chose to use the Gleim CIA Review System because it provides a flexible study approach that allowed me to balance theory with many practice questions. The high number of questions were a crucial reason why I chose Gleim. Although the time spent in preparation is somewhat higher, the questions increased the likelihood to pass the exams the first time, and that was the ultimate goal for me.

For the exam preparation, first I worked through the Gleim books. The individual chapters were very well tailored to the exam parts. After that, I practiced the test questions to achieve at least a 95% success rate in the tests.

The many questions have constantly deepened the built-up knowledge. As a result, I felt optimally prepared for the exams. Thanks to the self-confidence built up during the thousands of test questions, I was able to remain calm during the stressful exam situation and trust in the knowledge built up with Gleim.

The material they provide is very thorough and helped me feel confident on exam day. I would say that Gleim contributed a great deal to my success. It provided an efficient and effective way for me to learn what I needed to and then assess what I learned.

I want to thank Gleim for putting out such an excellent learning system to prepare for the CIA examination. I would definitely recommend Gleim to all CIA candidates.
