With the Gleim Study material, you don’t need anything else. There were very few questions that came on the actual exam, that were outside the study material. I used the textbooks to study, and the multiple-choice questions to practice and apply the concepts. I liked that there were so many practice questions, which you could do by topic. I liked in particular that I could do them on my cell phone, which meant I could utilize my commute time more efficiently. I did swap between phone on the go and computer at home. I studied the textbooks once in detail which took longer; at this point I did the MCQs in the book, and just a few online. . The final round of study was revision about 1-2 weeks right before the exam, during which time I spent more time on the MCQs as I already knew the text. I passed the CIA exams using solely the Gleim material, and am now in a better position to apply for Internal Audit roles. If I was planning other certifications I would definitely check Gleim again.
