Question: I am planning on sitting for the CIA exam in May. Where are the testing sites in my area?
Answer: Candidates should choose the most convenient location from the exam site list on The IIA’s website and enter the appropriate site number on their application. The IIA makes every attempt to accommodate site requests. However, sometimes a site is not available, and The IIA will assign candidates to the nearest available site. In the event that the site is not acceptable and the candidate chooses not to sit for the exam, the registration and part fees will be refunded.
The exam site in any city changes from one exam cycle to the next based on the number of candidates. Therefore, The IIA will not provide you with the exact exam site until all applications have been processed and the exam site is selected and secured, which is typically three weeks prior to the exam.
