As you prepare for the CIA Exam, it is important to be familiar with the types of multiple-choice questions you will find on the exam. During your preparations, it is good to develop a strategy for answering all 100 multiple-choice questions. This week we will discuss less traditional multiple-choice questions.
Less traditional multiple-choice questions include
- Those that The IIA converted from two- and three-answer multiple-choice questions into four-answer multiple-choice questions.
- Questions that have several variables (or answers) within each answer option and are presented in columns.
- Other questions that require various graphical interpretation.
No matter what type of question you see, remember to answer all questions. Your grade will be based on the total number of correct answers, which means there is no penalty for guessing.
If you would like to see examples of any of the questions we have discussed over the last two weeks, go to the Gleim CIA System for Success booklet.
Next week we will discuss some techniques to help you answer multiple-choice questions. Keep practicing multiple-choice questions in the CIA Gleim Online Course and CIA Test Prep Software, both are components of the Gleim CIA Review System, to get used to all the question types you will find on the CIA Exam.
