Fingerprinting at the Testing Center
The staff at each Pearson VUE test center has been trained in the procedures specific to The IIA exams. Exam center personnel will guide you through the steps that have been developed by The IIA.
The Pearson Vue personnel will request to capture your fingerprint and a digital photograph of you for identification purposes as part of the check-in process. If you decide to decline the fingerprint, you will still be allowed to sit for the CIA Exam as it is optional for candidates. However, the digital photograph is required to have a record of the individual who sat for the exam.
