Question: I’m a working mother and I spend most of my free time taking care of my kids. How can I find time to study?
Answer: Don’t let your children be your reason not to take the CIA exam. Find creative ways to schedule study time that will be fun for your children and give you the quiet time that you need.
If you have a small child/children, study after they go to sleep at night or while they are taking a nap. Hire a babysitter on the weekend, and spend a few hours at a library or your favorite coffee shop. During the week, you can find study time by creating a movie night; order a pizza so you won’t have to cook. If your children are in school, have them do their homework while you study.
The Gleim CIA Review System makes it easy for you to find time to study even with a full-time workload and a family to watch over. Through our multimedia approach you are able to maximize the time you have available. Do you commute to work? This is an ideal time to listen to the Gleim audio CDs. If your kids have extracurricular activities that you must attend, bring your book to review. You can even bring your laptop to do practice questions either online (if the Internet is available) or in the Test Prep software.
Once you complete your CIA, you can get a job with better hours and a higher income, which will allow you to spend more time with your family. Let your children see that you never stop learning and they can learn by your example. Let them be the reason you do take the exam. Register for your CIA exam today.
