This may sound silly, but I must constantly remind candidates that before they can fully apply themselves to passing the CIA exam with our Review System and successful study methods, they must take the appropriate steps to apply for the exam. If you are first-time candidate, The IIA requires you to complete the following five steps:
- Create a Profile in The IIA’s CCMS
- Apply to the CIA Certification Program
- Register for an Exam Part
- Create a Profile at Pearson VUE
- Schedule Your Exam at Pearson VUE
Candidates who have previously used The IIA’s CCMS and taken parts of the exam will only need to register for the next part and schedule their exam at Pearson VUE. Click here to see detailed instructions on how to complete these steps.
