Candidates who are comfortable and confident are more likely to pass the CIA exam. In order to do this, you must research the exam. Find out how it is structured. Familiarize yourself with instructions so you don’t waste costly seconds reading them. Know what types of questions will be asked. Understand the layout of the exam and how long you have to do each section.
In addition, familiarize yourself with the testing center. Know where the bathrooms are situated. If possible, find out where the proctor will be sitting. Awareness of what the testing situation will be like can give you an edge over the other candidates.
Make sure you are as comfortable as possible on test day. Dress in layers so that if the room is uncomfortably warm or cool, you can adjust yourself accordingly. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
Another important tip: use the restroom right before the exam begins. This will just be one less distraction weighing on your mind.
