If you take the time to create your own plan, you will be able to work around your own schedule and still devote the time needed to review for your exam.
– Calculate your total study time: The Gleim CIA Review program consists of 10 study units per exam part, a total of 40 study units for all four parts. If you spend an average of 3 to 5 hours per study unit, you will invest a total of 120-200 hours studying for the November exam.
– Set a weekly bench mark: Figure out how many hours you will study each week as your prepare for the exam. Then, divide the total number of hours, 120-200, by the number of hours you plan to study each week. This will give you the total number of weeks you will need to study for you exam.
– Include personal days: Find out the date of vacations or family events where you know you won’t have time for your studies.
– Complete Your Calendar: Fill in the weeks needed to complete your comprehensive review, while working around the personal days you’ve selected.
