Food for Thought
Explanation: Eating a lot of food before or during study periods can disrupt retention of study material. The digestion process can cause drowsiness.
Fix: Avoid large meals immediately before your study session. Instead, keep a small supply of healthy, non-messy snacks within reach of your studying area. At the end of a study session, you can reward yourself with dinner out or treat yourself to a favorite dessert.
